A Glitzi and Glimmery Fun Holiday Gift for Kids

There is definitely something about being able to craft my own toy from beginning to end that makes it extra fun and appealing.
For a child to know how her/his toy was put together, step-by-step, is not only teaching them dexterity and technique but also patience! And we all know how important that particular characteristic is.

Orbeez: Orbeez are super-absorbent polymers (several smaller molecules joined together) that can grow to more than 100 times their volume when you add water (the water gets absorbed into the areas between the molecules). The technology was first invented for agricultural purposes in the 1960s- for irrigating crops. Today, these polymers are used in diapers (as we know) to help prevent leaks, in food packaging to absorb excess water, and in floral vases to hydrate cut flowers.

Orbeez are non-toxic (but obviously be aware of the choking hazards of small pieces).
