My mom was a breast cancer survivor and throughout her battle, she still remained the graceful, loving, positive and cheerful woman that she is. She is not only a wonderful mother but she is also an amazing nana to her grandkids.
She deserves every special thing and I would love to win this for her!
I consider my mom EXTREMELY special, bc she is open minded, caring and genuine. Although she comes from a foreign country, VASTLY different then ours, she has allowed me to grow bi-culturally and has respected the differences her and I may have in our views. For that I am grateful, as respect is key in all relationships!
My Mother raised me and my sister with absolutely no help from anyone. Single Mom back in the day when Single parents were rare. My Parents divorced when I was a year old and my Mother picked up the pieces without him. We were always first in her mind. I know my Mother wore the same coat for 20 years but my Sister and I had new coats yearly. I'm 50 years old, Married with Children & Grandchildren and she still ask if there is anything I need. Still putting my needs ahead of her own!
My mom had to raise us on her own after my father died in a car accident when I was 8 years old. She encouraged us to pursue post-secondary education since she had never had the opportunity to do so. She passed on her strong morals and work ethic and built up our self confidence. She always supported us in everything we did and I miss her like crazy even though she has been gone for 12 years now.

My mom is so incredibly special. She has always put my sister and I first. She is selfless and beautiful in and out. These days she helps me with my kiddos every chance she gets. She's the best.
There are not enough words to tell you why my mom is so special to me.
She's sacrificed so much for me and my sister and she did it all on her own. We lost my father when I was only 6 years old.
She teaches us everyday what hard work, unconditional love and humbleness is all about.
So grateful for her!

My mom passed away about 3 years ago. She was so special to me. She loved food, shared her love of cooking and had a hilarious sense of humour! I miss her every day but also feel blessed to have had her in my life for over 40 years. Thanks

My mom raised me as a single mother while in the nursing program. She successfully graduated and was diagnosed with cancer a few years later. Through out all of this time she has made sure I was provided for and comfortable. She still does, even though I am all grown up.

My mum has done everything in her power to raise us to know we are loved, and to be happy, well-adjusted individuals.. all the while a single mum, isolated in the Yukon, with not much money. I think she did a stellar job, and I have a fantastic relationship with her today.

my mom has had a hard time raising us 6 girls as a single mom after my dad passed! She did well to keep us all together and raise us all up!
I was adopted and was raised by my aunt who I consider my 2nd Mom. She took me and my sister in after my mom and dad passed away when we were little in a tragic car accident.
I still remember my mom's smile and for some reason her voice as she use to sing to me often when I was a baby. Oddly enough, my aunt is a spitting image of my mom and she sounds just like her too. She sang us a new lullaby growing up and also walked me and my sister down the aisle when we got married. She was there when my sister had her first child and will be there for mine.
She talks about my mom often so that we don't forget and cried with us when we remembered.
