I have probably spent hundreds of dollars the past 3 years from just milk alone.

My daughter is absolutely milk-obsessed.  Thank goodness I don't have to worry about her dairy intake. 

I never had problems getting her to drink milk; she took to it very quickly when she was good and ready as a toddler and now as a healthy, strong four year old girl has proven to me the effects that calcium truly has on your bones.  She is tough as nails for a 4 year old girl. She only slightly fractured her clavicle a year ago which healed quickly after a bad fall, but this is from one of MANY falls that her strong bones were able to take.  On top of that, she's full of energy (a little too much at times...) & growing perfectly physically and mentally.

I truly have her love of milk to thank for that.

Being a very busy family, always on the go, and our little one starting her first year of school, having milk available for her all the time does not come easy, especially when there isn't always the convenience of a fridge around.

Until I found out how it works.
Apparently, Milk boxes don’t require refrigeration until they're opened. This eco-friendly packaging keeps the milk safe and maintains the protein, calcium and other important nutrients.

UHT Milk Technology
Shelf safe milk is what the industry calls UHT or Ultra High Temperature, meaning that the milk has been pasteurized at a higher temperature, but for a shorter time, to preserve taste and nutrition. Milk is the most common UHT product, but the process is also used for fruit juices (juice boxes), cream, soy milk, wine, soups and broth.
The milk is kept in Tetra Pak Cartons that protect the milk from spoiling.
