Before when I use to ask my child or my niece or nephew what they wanted for their Birthday or for Christmas and they would reply with some sort of toy, my response would usually be less than absorbed.
Yes, I sadly caught the BA (Boring Adult) Syndrome.
I forgot how much toys not only brought joy and elation to a child on Christmas morning, but the many adventures and education it actually brought as well.
