Forever is only the Beginning: Breaking Dawn Pt 1

Unless you've been living under a rock the past century, you'll know what much anticipated flick came out this past weekend. The first part of Twilight Series, Breaking Dawn.
*Twihard squeal*
I am totally still Team Edward all the way. Something about vampires with awesome hair and an insatiable hunger for your love not to mention utterly loyal and protective (in a good non-psychotic way) is just so dreamy.
But for those that lust over Jacob's perfectly rippled abdomens, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but he's not shirtless as much as he was in the last film.

Serious talk though, if you have read the books, you will be very pleased with this film. It was true to the novel and I was very pleased with that. For those that haven't read the book, you may not think this movie was worth the $139.5 million it raked in just from this opening weekend alone due to the lack of action.
Wall Street Journal writes “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1″ earned $139.5 million over the weekend box office, proving the vampire drama hasn’t lost any of its bite with audiences.
The opening is the fifth largest opening of all time domestically.
Wowsers! That's awesome!

If it was up to me, this blog post would be 4 pages long of my ranting and raving with excitement about every detail of this film, but I know that many of you haven't seen the film yet, so I'll just be a little hush-hush with the major details for now.

I will have to say that the wedding was absolutely beautiful. The decor, the music (I fell in love with the music, especially when Bella was walking down the aisle with her dad. You will also recognize one very romantic song from the first Twilight film at the altar *swoon*), and the dress. Oh, the dress.
Bella's dress was lovely, especially the backing. It fit her perfectly. It wasn't all vintage like the book said but still lovely nonetheless. And Edward, of course, was dashing and debonair as he always is.
The toasts at the reception was hilarious! You'll catch some sweet and funny moments there.
*SPOILER AHEAD*
I was absolutely smitten with Edward's toast to Bella. One of my favourite quotes to date in a film:
"You’re so lucky if you find that one person who can see you for who you are and still accept you and allow you to move beyond who you’ve been."
LOVE IT!

I know many of you are wondering about the honeymoon. Or in other words, the moment Edward and Bella finally do the deed? Right? Right?! Of course you're curious kitten's.
Sexy, sentimental and weird is all I have to say about it. Once you watch it, you'll understand what I mean.
Another one of my favourite quotes from the film during the honeymoon (I wouldn't say this is a spoiler because it's in the trailer):
"Last night was the best night of my existence."
I don't care how mushy you may think that is, I like mush. And millions of others do too which explains the box office chart topping results.

The pregnancy? Is there really a crazy vampire fetus growing inside Bella? Will it kill her? Will they kill it?
So intense, huh? This I won't spoil for you one bit. Very gripping though.

I just don't understand why many people were complaining about too much blood? It's a vampire movie, it's to be expected. And in all honesty, it wasn't so bad.

What I wasn't so fond of was the whole wolf telepathy thing. The best description I can offer is borrowed from Twitter: "Wolf telepathy makes you sound like a bad guy from Power Rangers." So true.

All in all, as a big fan of Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Series of Books, I was happy with this movie. It stayed (almost) very true to book and wasn't in anyway overdone or underdone. What I'm hoping for part 2, is to see some more action!

Oh, and a tip. You may want to wait till the very end of the credits because there's a surprise ending. The film wasn't over yet. ;)

What did you think of the movie?
