Beauty in a Box: Loose Button's Luxe Box Review

I was absolutely thrilled to receive this wonderful package of beauty in the mail this week.
I'm talking about Loose Button's fabulous Luxe Box -- an exciting new service that deliver 4-5 deluxe sized sample beauty products to your doorstep every month.

I received a sample of this box at the She's Connected Conference which included a couple of beauty products including lovely pearl handmade earrings by Sheyna.

So, what's the 411 on this awesome new service?
Luxe Box is a monthly subscription service that delivers 4-5 deluxe-sized beauty samples to your doorstep in a chic box. The samples range from skincare and makeup to fragrance, body, and haircare. What’s more? These samples have been hand-picked by their beauty experts.

Brands that have featured in past boxes:
- Stila
- Benefit
- Calvin Klein
- Essie
- Dermalogica
- Pur Minerals

I have to say, the idea of having carefully chosen beauty products that are in line with monthly beauty trends directly to me every month is one amazing idea.

The packaging was uber chic and modern and I loved how they personalized everything in writing to you.  Makes you feel "extra" special. :)

They also include product descriptions and tips explaining each of the samples in your box.

In all honesty though, as much as I loved the products they had, I was expecting deluxe samples... didn't really look like deluxe samples to me. I think it would have been nicer if they were a tad larger.
They are stating that their deluxe samples in comparison to store samples are much larger (where store samples will last only 1-2 uses) and theirs much more. I will have to disagree on that.
I've had store samples the same size as some of the products I received in the box.
I did; however, love the nail polish from China Glaze's Crackle collection.

Aside from the sample sizes, I feel the pricing for what you get each month is actually very fair and reasonably priced for the Luxe Box.
  • Monthly: $12/monthly
  • Quarterly: $36/Recurring every 3 Months
  • Yearly: $120/recurring every 12 months (2 months free!)

And shipping is FREE! That's always a great bonus.
Currently, they are only accepting credit card payments. I think if they were to add a PayPal option so people have a choice to pay either with credit card or their chequing account they can do so.
I personally am a PayPal girl.

Also, they are only available in Canada at the moment but working to make this service available worldwide.
Would be nice to be able to send this as a monthly gift for my family/friends abroad!

Overall, I think Loose Button's Luxe Box is a wonderful service for the beauty lover at an exceptionally affordable price. Visit them at: www.loosebutton.com

Courtesy of the wonderful folks at Loose Button, one of my readers will have the chance to WIN next month's Luxe Box!
Please make sure to follow the instruction's carefully to be qualified for this awesome prize!

I'm a big fan of Urban Decay Cosmetics, Hard Candy, and Lit cosmetics. So anyone of those would be amazing.
