Here's my review from the first time I tried the Luxe Box.
Well, they were still fairly new at the time and continuously working on improving their boxes to cater to their clientele. They now have implemented a new plan where instead of every month with 4-5 samples, you would be receiving a seasonal box every 3 months with 7-8 deluxe-sized samples instead of even higher quality than ever before!
I know many may think that the monthly service was much better than 4 boxes per year but you have to keep in mind, new trendy products only appear every season which only makes total sense for you to receive a box each season with new (and more) products that are currently in-season.
They want to keep their customers up-to-date and loving the brands/products they receive.
Loose Button likes to partner with favorable brands as often as they can to birth a special limited edition box as an additional treat for their customers. The last one was with Flare Magazine, Canada's leading fashion mag, and now they have a limited edition Lancôme Luxe Box.
I love Lancôme.
Been a huge fan of their mascaras for the longest time; the caliber of their products are amazing although on more the pricier end.
So this was definitely a welcome treat, especially for the more frugal woman (specifically moms and students!).
Upon opening my Lancôme Luxe Box, I was absolutely wowed at the fact that they weren't just deluxe-sized samples but full size and low and behold my favourite product from Lancôme was included, the Hypnôse Mascara! Woohoo! Also included was a L'Absolu Nu Lipstick, an Artliner and a Bi-Facil Make-up remover (another product that I've used religiously in the past).
Loose Button have also launched the campaign on their Facebook Fan page where fans can RSVP to the upcoming YouTube Beauty Guru, Michelle Phan's, event being held on June 21, 2012 in The Bay Yorkdale.

I love Lancome as well! The hypnose mascara and their lipsticks are my fav.
I think a seasonal box with more samples every 3 months is way better than a monthly box with less samples. I'd prefer better and more.
Although I much prefer a monthly service, seasonal boxes with better and more samples seems intriguing. I'd have to see them to judge well.
If they're anything like this Lancome box, I'm all for it! Nice to get full-sized samples sometimes as well.

I think I would prefer the monthly boxes. It's nice to get a treat like that once a month in the mail as opposed to just seasonally.

I'm not sure how I feel about seasonal boxes vs monthly boxes. I will give it a shot and see how it goes, maybe the boxes will have bigger samples (instead of flimsy shampoo packets and perfume vials)

I like that idea, because I wear different colours for different seasons etc. however the monthly is exciting

I like the idea of seasonal boxes because it will be speciallized to the season & we usually vary our beauty routines & products with the change in the season. It would be great if there were both monthly & seasonal boxes! Terrific!
I'm not sure how I feel about the seasonal boxes - it's definitely interesting and can have potential if done properly. Since there are so many subscriptions out there now, it's harder for the boxes to differentiate themselves, so this is a smart idea in theory, but it really all depends on the execution and whether Loose Button is able to deliver a consistently amazing box every quarter. I think I'll have to wait and see how they turn out.
The seasonal boxes seem like a better idea if the products are bigger.

I'm really excited for the seasonal box because I do prefer quality over quantity and I was a bit disappointed with the May and April boxes. That being said, the anticipation of three months is killing me a little bit!
Larger samples sized to last is great because you'll get a better idea of product effectiveness. Though you'll lose the thrill of the monthly "surprise"
I think I would like the monthly ones better,as you would get a nice surprise every month,compared to every season.
